FedEx Failure (again) - Electronics + Rain = Good Delivery - Raz's Domain

01:08 pm - FedEx Failure (again) - Electronics + Rain = Good Delivery

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

We've had perishable foods left in summer heat and direct sunlight by FedEx guys before, and this time I've been waiting patiently to hear the doorbell or knocking to announce that FedEx had delivered our Digital Converter Box.

I randomly checked tracking to find that it WAS delivered!  The kind FedEx driver left our parcel sitting out on the porch.  In the pouring rain.

More and more I hear complaints of both FedEx and UPS just leaving things around, without every bothering to touch a doorbell. I once had a package left under the doormat, like a mysteriously hovering doormat was hiding anything. I'm a lot less patient than I used to be, and if I ever have an electronic part left in the rain (and let's face it, hard drives and RAM are the things I'm likely to order) someone's gonna get ripped up. And I won't care who it is.

We had a roast delivered for Easter by way of FedEx. Mysterious floating doormat. We were all home. I laughed so hard, I'm still laughing a little.
